Looking for something a little bit different? Our axe throwing sessions bring adventure, challenge and a good dose of friendly competition to The Wild Kids Club.

Whether you’re booking a birthday party, planning a family activity, organising a group get-together or just fancy trying something new, our axe throwing sessions are designed to be fun, safe and memorable.

How It Works

Each booking gives you your own throwing lane for 30 minutes.

A lane can be used by up to 2 people, so you can throw together, take turns and enjoy the challenge side by side. Before you begin, you’ll receive a full safety briefing and coaching so everyone knows exactly what to do.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session so we can get you checked in and ready to throw.

What Can You Throw?

We offer age-appropriate throwing options:

Ravens are available for children aged 8–12.

Axes are available for ages 12+.

The minimum age to take part is 8 years old. All under-18s must attend with an adult, and a parent or guardian will need to sign a waiver before the session begins.

Ad Hoc Axe Throwing Sessions

Fancy having a go without booking a full party? Our ad hoc axe throwing sessions are perfect for families, couples, friends and anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity.

Sessions are booked per lane, with up to 2 people sharing the 30-minute throwing time. If two people would each like a full 30 minutes of throwing, please book two lanes.

Prices start from £25 per lane for 30 minutes, for up to 2 people.

Axe Throwing Parties

Our axe throwing parties are a brilliant choice for older children, teens and adults who want something exciting, memorable and a little bit different.

For £195, our axe throwing party package includes:

exclusive use of the axe throwing lanes
up to 9 attendees
structured throwing games
a prize for the winner
a campfire afterwards
s’mores around the fire

The party is led by a qualified and insured instructor, with a full safety briefing before anyone starts throwing. We’ll guide everyone through the basics, build confidence and then bring in games and challenges to keep it fun and competitive.

It’s a great option for birthdays, family celebrations, teen parties or groups who want a proper outdoor adventure.

Please note: the minimum age to take part in throwing is 8 years old. Younger children may be able to attend the campfire element depending on the party set-up, but they will not be able to take part in the throwing activity.

Safety First

Axe throwing is an adventurous activity, but it is carefully managed. Sessions are led by a qualified and insured instructor, with clear safety rules, a full briefing and controlled throwing lanes.

To take part, you’ll need:

closed-toe shoes — no sandals or open-toe footwear
suitable clothing for the weather
long hair tied back
sensible behaviour around the throwing area
a sense of adventure

We reserve the right to stop participation if anyone is not following the safety instructions.
